The large hall is dominated by the relief of F. M. Pelcl by a Prague sculptor F. F. Hergesl. From 2008 when the theatreunderwent a complete reconstruction it once again serves to all the muses – primarily to theatre, dance and music. The most important cultural event of the town is the festival Poláčkovo léto (Poláček´s Summer).
